Recordings of Karl Böhm with the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne are viewed and published in the archives of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), resulting in a new broadcasting cooperation. A four-part Fischer-Dieskau edition from the early 1950s, a Fricsay production and a four-part Geza Anda edition are to follow until the cooperation comes to a halt for the time being the following year.
audite is increasingly working with Deutschlandradio Kultur and its inexhaustible archive, so that the historical productions will continue to be secured for the next few years. Especially the many recordings from the post-war years are of great interest from an interpretive point of view.
