Jan 17, 2020 | Kristina Damiani News Three audite productions on new longlist of German Record Critics' award (PdSK)

153 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen 280 productions (CDs, DVDs and audio books) from new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") 1/2020 of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK), which will be issued on February 15th.

Among these are also three audite productions:

Johann Bernhard Bach: Orchestral Suites was nominated in the category Early Music, String Trios by Weinberg - Penderecki - Schnittke was chosen in the category chamber music and in the category historical recording Edith Mathis sings Mozart, Bartók, Brahms, Schumann and Strauss: Selected Lieder.

We are very happy about this appreciation!

The quarterly and annual awards of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK) are sought-after prices in the German music scene. The winners of the quarterly awards are included in the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") of the German Record Critics' Award. The lists recommend new releases which merit special attention for the quality of interpretation and for their value to the repertoire. These lists provide a candid picture of new releases which, in the jury's opinion, are of outstanding importance when judged on purely artistic and audiophile grounds.
