Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten – Der Dummling – Frau Holle

Three classics from Grimm's fairy tales musically retold: "The Town Musicians of Bremen", "Mother Hulda" and "The Fool" by the Berlin composer Mark Scheibe. Narrator Meike Droste and the four recorder players of the Boreas Quartet Bremen bring the fairytale characters to life in vivid language and new verses. The entire instrumentarium of the flute ensemble is used: from the tirilating sopranino to the donkey-like contrabass recorder.
