Edition Ferenc Fricsay (XII) – J. Strauss: Walzer • Polkas

This representative cross-section of the most beautiful and famous waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss II in recordings made between 1950 and 1952, issued here for the first time, shows Fricsay’s unique talent for natural and seemingly improvisatory music-making.
