With its second CD, "Saga", the ARUNDOSquintett brings to life four varied soundscapes that stimulate the imagination. Whether in Carl Nielsen’s classical wind quintet, Lalo Schifrin’s tribute to New Orleans, Claude Debussy’s "Petite suite" – a premiere recording – or in Kevin Beaver’s new quintet, the ensemble shines with virtuosic expressiveness and rich sounds.
