From September 7th to 15th the Swiss Piano Trio again invites international musicians to their chamber music festival at Lake Constance. Originally founded for the 10th anniversary of the Swiss Piano Trio in 2008 the festival celebrates a small anniversary with this year's 5th edition.
The audite anniversary event on June 23rd in the Bertelsmann Representative Office Berlin was a great success! About 90 invited guests from press, radio and music industry enjoyed the presentation of the anniversary productions in the press conference. Speakers were Michael Haefliger (Artistic and Executive Director LUCERNE FESTIVAL), Siegwald Bütow (Orchestra Manager WDR-Sinfonieorchester), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Rathert (Universität Mücnchen) and Stefan Lang (Deutschlandradio Kultur). Remy Franck, Editor-in-Chief of pizzicato and Jury Chairman of the ICMA, led through the press conference and also presented the ICMA Award Label of the Year 2013 which audite received in March in Milan. Musically the press conference was embraced by appearances of the Mandelring Quartett and the Piano Duo Mona & Rica Bard.
We celebrate 40 successful years on June 23rd in the company of invited guests in the Bertelsmann Repräsentanz Berlin, where we also present our anniversary releases.
The production Ludwig van Beethoven: Complete String Quartets - Vol. 1 with the Quartetto di Cremona was chosen CD of the Month in the July issue 2013 of STEREO.

Impressions of a recording session for the complete Beethoven Quartets with the Quartetto di Cremona in "Fondazione Spinola Banna per l'Arte" in Poirino (near Turin).
After the spanish clarinetist Laura Ruiz Ferreres got several awards from german trade magazines for her audite debut album Johannes Brahms: The Complete Chamber Music for Clarinet now for the first time she was awarded by the french OnlineMagazin ResMusica and got a La Clef du mois.
Also in 2013 the Mandelring Quartett invites over Corpus Christ to the HAMBACHERMusikFEST.

From May 10th to 12 the Trio Testore hosts the festival Mai-Klassik. Also this year the ensemble invited renowned colleagues to joint concerts.
On the upcoming Sunday, April 21st, 2013, Bernhard Schmidt from the Mandelring Quartett will be guest at Deutschlandradio Kultur. Subject of the two hour program "Interpretations" (3.05 pm to 5 pm) will be the two string quartets of Leos Janácek.
