From May 10th to 12 the Trio Testore hosts the festival Mai-Klassik. Also this year the ensemble invited renowned colleagues to joint concerts.
On the upcoming Sunday, April 21st, 2013, Bernhard Schmidt from the Mandelring Quartett will be guest at Deutschlandradio Kultur. Subject of the two hour program "Interpretations" (3.05 pm to 5 pm) will be the two string quartets of Leos Janácek.
On Wednesday April 17th the Mandelring Quartett continues its "Berlin cycle 2013" in the chamber music hall of the Berlin Philharmonie.
Prior the start of the Complete Beethoven String Quartets with the Quartetto di Cremona in March we present a short video with impressions and interviews from the recording session.
On 15th and 16th of April audite expects a very special project. Trombonist Hansjörg Fink and the organist Elmar Lehnen will be recorded with their original composition called "Requiem for trombone and organ" , which has been premiered at Alpe d' Huez in France recently.
The double SACD Brahms: The Complete Piano Trios is accompanied by a video presenting impressions of the recording session with Trio Testore.
On March 18 this year's International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) were awarded in Milan/Itlay. audite received two awards: One as „Label of the Year" and also as the winner in the category Baroque/vocal with Polychoral Splendour. The winners were introduced and honoured with a festive award ceremony and a top-class gala concert.
The new audite release Johannes Brahms: The Complete Chamber Music for Clarinet with Laura Ruiz Ferreres has a very good start. Only a few weeks available the production has already been chosen by Bayerischer Rundfunk and RBB as CD of the week as well as it receives a Supersonic in the April issue 2013 of pizzicato. We are very happy about these awards!
