For the first time, audite is releasing a historical recording with material from the archive of the Hessischer Rundfunk (HR). The live recording from 1960 of Stravinsky's rarely performed melodrama Persephoné with Fritz Wunderlich is not to remain the only cooperation project with the HR.
For the latest recording of the Mandelring Quartet with Leoš Janáček’s String Quartets, Gunter Teuffel and the Mandelring Quartet have reconstructed the original version, offering the second string quartet in both versions, for viola and viola d’amore. The production Schumann: Piano Quartet and Piano Quintet with the Mandelring Quartet and Claire-Marie Le Guay received an Excellentia Award from pizzicato!

The Fischer-Dieskau Birthday Edition received an excellent review in Gramophone.
The Backhaus live recording with Beethoven Sonatas from 1969 receives a CHOC from Classica in the October issue. Already in the July issue the four part Fischer-Dieskau Birthday Edition received a CHOC, too.
