With archive material for another Fischer-Dieskau series, audite launches another broadcasting cooperation with Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg (rbb).
The Complete Edition of Shostakovitch String Quartets with the Mandelring Quartet was reviewed in one of the most important German newspapers: On November 26th DIE ZEIT dedicated a full length article to this special edition!
Our production “Edition Friedrich Gulda – The early RIAS recordings” won the Quarterly Award of the German Record Critics’ Award (“Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik”).
The Edition Wilhelm Furtwängler with the complete RIAS recordings of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Wilhelm Furtwängler is currently breaking records: The edition was included in the top 20 classic charts, it won numerous prestigious awards (e.g. Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik, Diapason d’Or, etc.) and gained highest praise by the international trade press; these are just a few of the successes!
In October audite will complete the edition of Shostakovitch String Quartets with the Mandelring Quartet.

Due to the release of the Furtwängler box at audite the Foundation Berliner Philharmoniker and the Wilhelm-Furtwängler Society hosted a panel discussion with audite's producer Ludger Böckenhoff, Dr. Helge Grünewald as the Berlin Philharrmonic's spokesman and the sound engineer of the Berliner Philharmonie Klaus-Peter Groß.
The latest Mandelring Quartet production was awarded a “Star of the Month” by the German Fono Forum and labelled “Outstanding” by the International Record Review.
