​​Our current July release Dvořák: String Quartet, Op. 96, String Quintet, Op. 97 & Humoresques, Op. 101 with the Mandelring Quartett has been awarded a KLANG TIPP by Audio / Stereoplay.

Reviewer Andreas Fritz writes: "With irrepressible joy in playing and a marvellous richness of colour, the American stylistic elements are brought brilliantly to life. This warmly and clearly recorded CD also offers a fantastic premiere: the eight Piano Humoresques, Op. 101, in an arrangement for string quartet. Chamber music at its best." 

We are very happy about this appreciation of expert music critics!

Jul 7, 2025 | Wencke Wallbaum | News SUPERSONIC for Mandelring Quartett

​Our current July release Dvořák: String Quartet, Op. 96, String Quintet, Op. 97 & Humoresques, Op. 101 with the Mandelring Quartett has been awarded a SUPERSONIC by the Luxembourg trade magazine Pizzicato.

Reviewer Uwe Krusch writes: "[...] the music is performed with noble affection and a refined approach. In this way, the works gain in refinement and elegance compared to the interpretations that also emphasize hearty or dance-like aspects. This gives the pieces an emphatic, less intrusive narrative line that is extremely beneficial to them." 

We are very happy about this appreciation of expert music critics!

Apr 7, 2025 | Wencke Wallbaum | News audite production on new long list of German Record Critics’ Award (PdSK)

155 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen a total of 256 titles (CDs, DVDs and audiobooks) from the new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") II/2025 of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK), which will be published on 15 May.

Among them is another audite release: the album J. S. Bach: The Toccatas, in a recording by Jonathan Ferrucci, was nominated in the category 'Keyboard Instruments I'.

We are very delighted about this honour!

​153 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen a total of 290 titles (CDs, DVDs and audiobooks) from the new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critic's Choice ("Bestenliste") I/2025 of the German Record Critic's Award (PdSK), which will be published on 14 February.


Among them are three audite releases: in the category "Early Music" the 4th part of our Gregor Joseph Werner series Werner & Caldara  and in the category "Historical Recordings" the two archive recordings from Lucerne Festival Václav Neumann conducts Dvořák & Smetana and Rafael Kubelík conducts Haydn, Schoenberg & Tchaikovsky were nominated.

We are very pleased about this appreciation!
