Apr 7, 2025 | Wencke Wallbaum | News audite production on new long list of German Record Critics’ Award (PdSK)

155 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen a total of 256 titles (CDs, DVDs and audiobooks) from the new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") II/2025 of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK), which will be published on 15 May.

Among them is another audite release: the album J. S. Bach: The Toccatas, in a recording by Jonathan Ferrucci, was nominated in the category 'Keyboard Instruments I'.

We are very delighted about this honour!

​153 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen a total of 290 titles (CDs, DVDs and audiobooks) from the new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critic's Choice ("Bestenliste") I/2025 of the German Record Critic's Award (PdSK), which will be published on 14 February.


Among them are three audite releases: in the category "Early Music" the 4th part of our Gregor Joseph Werner series Werner & Caldara  and in the category "Historical Recordings" the two archive recordings from Lucerne Festival Václav Neumann conducts Dvořák & Smetana and Rafael Kubelík conducts Haydn, Schoenberg & Tchaikovsky were nominated.

​156 jurors from 31 specialist juries have chosen a total of 229 titles (CDs, DVDs and audiobooks) from the new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") IV/2024 of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK), which will be published on 15 November.

Among them are two current audite releases: in the category "Keyboard Instruments I + II" the productions Beethoven: Complete Piano Works, Vol. 1 with Alfredo Perl as well as Bach: Trio Sonatas for Organ, BWV 525-530 by Martin Neu were nominated.

​On 12 April, this year's ICMAs were awarded in the Palau de la Musica, Valencia (Spain), and numerous prize winners were presented in an impressively diverse gala concert with the Orquesta de València under the baton of Alexander Liebreich.

audite was again honoured with an International Classical Music Award (ICMA): The jury's choice in the "Historical Recording" category fell on the production Herbert von Karajan - The Early Lucerne Years.
